Todd’s Background
Todd got bitten by the magic bug when he was 8 years old and was given a magic set by his grandfather. It didn’t take long for Todd to learn a few tricks and start performing for friends and family members. A couple of years later, Todd performed his first birthday party show for the little girl down the street. This show set the stage for a lifetime of magical entertaining.
Todd was one of the youngest members of the St. Louis, MO region’s International Brotherhood of Magicians organization when he joined at 14. Todd was recently awarded into the international organization’s prestigious “Order of Merlin” rank for 25 years of continuous membership.
Before moving to the Los Angeles area in 1987, Todd participated in many magic competitions and conventions in an endeavor to constantly increase his knowledge of the art of magic. This practice of continuing education continues today. In fact, Todd recently achieved his ‘Certified Magic Professional’ (MP) status by completing an intensive course in Atlanta, GA.
Todd moved to Los Angeles in 1987 to pursue a career in Video Editing and has successfully done so for the past 10 years editing programs such as Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Hollywood Squares, Disney Channel and a host of others.
However, like most magician’s, Todd discovered that you don’t get into magic, it gets into you and doesn’t let go.
Therefore, Todd has decided to return to magic as a profession and can’t wait to share his lifetime experience in magic to a whole new audience in Southern California where he lives with his wife Sheila and two young sons, Sam and Adam.
